Welcome to Mr. Tornambe's Portfolio.

Featuring a naturally big voice, an understandable announcing style and vast boxing knowledge; introducing...Larry Tornambe!

For Larry's Mission Statement and photos, see the 'Learn the Ropes' and 'Photo Pages'.

BACKGROUND

Larry began developing his ring announcing skills in 1994, but his boxing passion and announcing presence were already well established. Larry began his love of boxing in the mid'70s and his 10 year radio career went on the air in the early '80s. These qualities are the foundation which support the classy, informative and exciting ring announcing career that has received praise from many east coast boxing fans and participants. In furthering his value to promoters, fans and boxers, Larry's writings can be read in RING SPORTS Magazine and on BoxingScene.com. Now that you are on Larry's website, it's easy to hire him to announce your next boxing card!
See the November/December 2004 issue of Boxing Digest for Jack Obermayer's K.O. J.O. Says column notes regarding Larry.  Also see MySpace.com/announcerLarry for "in-announcing-action" video and for a copy of Jack's article in the photo section; click it to enlarge.    www.GoFightLive.tv will also give you some video samples from various shows from the Blue Horizon over the past two years.

In 2007 Larry added ringside commentary to his resume.  Power Productions hired Larry to perform the blow by blow commentary for fight cards that can be accessed at arena.biz.  Blow by blow and ring announcing examples can be watched on www.mcn.tv  from Dover Downs Feb. 2010.   DVD auditions for ring announcing and ringside commentary are available upon request.
